Galen exaggerated his dizziness hoping to lure Reg into a foolish move. "I have no weapon," he babbled.
Reg laughed. "It is sad I am to hear that," he replied sarcastically. "But who am I to argue with fate?"
Galen staggered toward him feigning blindness. "I cannot see," he pleaded. "You would not attack a helpless man."
Reg saw his chance and lunged toward his adversary.
Galen anticipated the thrust and moved to avoid it, but his reactions had been slowed by Egan's blow. Reg's blade nicked a rib as it passed through his tunic, but Galen used Reg's momentum to grab him by his tunic and toss him head first into a post.
Reg hit full force, staggered back a moment then hit the floor beside his companion. Both were out cold.
